Yes — VidSynth uses APIs from Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and OpenAI ChatGPT for AI analysis. You'll need an account and API key from your chosen provider. Typical analysis costs a few cents per video, billed directly by your provider at their standard rates.
Yes. Audio transcription runs entirely on your local machine — your video never leaves your computer. Only the text transcript is sent to your chosen AI model API for analysis.
VidSynth supports all common video formats including MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, and WebM. You can also paste any YouTube URL directly.
Absolutely. Simply export your meeting recording as an MP4 (both Google Meet and Teams support this) and upload it to VidSynth like any other video file.
Mac support is coming soon. VidSynth currently runs on Windows. Sign up for updates and you'll be notified when Mac is available.
Yes — VidSynth is free to download and can be installed on as many machines as you like. Simply download and run it on each device.
